Are you passionate about the travel industry and fluent in English and Spanish? Join our dynamic, multinational service desk team in MontevideoThis role is in full time (11:00- 20:00 shift Monday to Friday*). 
 
As a Service Desk Agent (all genders), you'll be a key player supporting a vast network of travel agencies, passengers, and airlines across 190+ countries, collaborating with colleagues in four global locations.   • Be a global support expert: Provide solution-focused responses and efficiently handle inquiries via email, chat, and live chat in the areas of airline ticketing, tariffs, GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.), and reservations.
  • Collaborate across borders: Act as a vital link, working closely with internal departments and colleagues worldwide from our Montevideo office to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Drive service excellence: Analyze and resolve complex queries from our diverse international clients, using your critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Embrace innovation: Support the development of new product lines and customer services, adapting smoothly to evolving offerings and workflows.
  • Continuous growth: Display enthusiasm for learning new things and actively participate in your self-development within the ever-evolving travel industry.
  • Team commitment: *Contribute to our 24/7 global support by being flexible to work shifts according to company needs, including rotating weekend duties (once a month). 
About You
  • Experienced professional: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the travel/airline industry, tourism, or a comparable customer-facing service role.
  • Technical skills: Solid understanding of GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.). Knowledge of IATA regulations and tariff calculations is highly beneficial.
  • Customer focus: A true team player with excellent customer service skills and clear communication, and strong intercultural awareness.
  • Adaptable & Resilient: Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintain accuracy, and embrace change with a positive attitude.
  • Driven by learning & Self-managed: You are driven by a desire for continuous learning and self-improvement. As a self-managed professional, you excel at working independently and are proficient in using key platforms like MS Office and CRM to organize and execute your tasks.
  • Language Pro: Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish, knowledge of additional languages (like e.g. Portuguese) is a distinguishing asset!
